Filmmaking was something Daniel has wanted to do since the age of four. An episode of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood aired in which “Mister Rogers reveals his television house is part of a television studio, as viewers glance at some of the technical crew and the musicians.” (TV.com) At 13, he obtained his first camera and began making movies with the limited resources he had available to him. He went on to attend Cinekyd and graduated from The School of Visual Arts in New York with a BA in Video Editing.

Since college, he has worked for numerous independent production companies and has freelanced as an editor and director of photography for local film makers and artists. Now with over 10 years of experience, Daniel created Wide Eyed Pictures and has won awards for his shorts “Anna,” and “Between the Blinds” (including Best Directing). His official directorial debut “Emily in the A.M.” was awarded an Honorable Mention at California’s Ventura Film Festival, and was an Official Selection at both The Philadelphia Filmathon, and New Film- makers NY.
