“Filmmaking is something Daniel has wanted to do since the age of four. An episode of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood aired in which “Mister Rogers reveals his television house is part of a television studio, as viewers glance at some of the technical crew and the musicians.” (TV.com) At 13, he obtained his first camera and began making movies with the limited resources available to him. He attended Cinekyd summer camp for four years and graduated from The School of Visual Arts in New York with a BA in Video Editing.

Since college, he has worked for numerous independent production companies and has freelanced as an editor and director of photography for local film makers and artists. Now with over 15 years of experience directing, shooting, and editing, Daniel created Wide Eyed Pictures and has won awards for his shorts “The First Step,” “Anna,” and “Between the Blinds” (including Best Directing).
